LITs serve as role models for younger campers, assist counselors and staff, and develop the character, confidence, and leadership skills that carry far beyond a week at camp.
You'll learn to lead games, songs, and Bible Discovery. You'll learn about ministry. And you'll be part of making camp the best week of someone else's summer.
Mentored by experienced Program Directors and Summer Staff throughout.

Three Steps to Get Started
Complete the Application
Apply through our CampBrain portal. Returning campers use their existing account. New applicants — have a parent or guardian create a household account first.
Submit 2 References
Share the reference form with two recommenders who can speak to your character and readiness for leadership.
Choose Training + Weeks
Select one of three mandatory training dates and at least three program weeks that fit your schedule.
Once we receive your application and references, we'll reach out to register you for the program week you'd like to work with.
One Day. Everything You Need to Know
All LITs must attend one in-person training day before serving. Training covers songs, games, skits, safety protocols, and everything you need to lead well at Gretna Glen.
Training runs 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
A detailed schedule will be provided beforehand. Attendance is required — it's how we get to know you and set you up for a great week.

No payment is due at registration. Payment is collected after your application is accepted and your program week is confirmed.
