The Event

Make Gretna Glen Shine This Spring.

Spring Work Day is a hands-on day of service, set aside each year to get camp ready for the season ahead. Families, youth groups, and individuals show up in work clothes, grab a project, and help make Gretna Glen the place kids remember all summer.

Cleanup, construction, landscaping, organizing. There is something here for everybody to make a difference, regardless of age or skill level. Come for the whole day, swing by for a few hours, bring the crew or come solo. Every set of hands counts.

Lunch is on us. A hot meal is provided for every volunteer. Bring your appetite and bring a friend.

The Day

What to Expect

A full day of real work, shared with neighbors and friends. Every project moves camp closer to summer-ready.

Hands-On Projects

Cleanup crews, construction teams, landscaping help, and organizing crews. Bring work gloves if you have them.

All Ages Welcome

Families, youth groups, solo volunteers. Projects are tailored so every age can jump in and help.

Flexible Hours

9 AM to 5 PM is the full span. Swing by for an hour or stay all day. Partial attendance is welcomed.

Lunch Provided

A hot meal is served midday for every volunteer. No need to pack your own.

Service That Sticks

Every project is something a future camper or retreat guest will benefit from. Real work, real impact.

Community Spirit

The best part is the people. Show up with your people or meet new ones on the lawn.
