Free Fall Fun for the Whole Family
Colorful trees, lakeside views, and a Sunday afternoon stacked with seasonal activities. Fall Fun Day is Gretna Glen's free family celebration of everything October does best. Come for an hour, stay for four. Bring the neighbors. Bring the in-laws. No registration, no ticket, no cost.
Pumpkin painting for the kids. Archery for the brave. Tractor rides around the property. A fall photo station for the family picture you have been meaning to take. Boating and fishing on the lake. Campfire treats when you need a break. And the sandbox that everyone ends up in eventually.
Free admission. No registration required. Pull in anytime between noon and 4 PM on Sunday, October 18. Come as you are.

What to Expect
Six of the most-requested activities running all afternoon, plus a few extras. Drop in on any of them.
Pumpkin Painting
Pumpkins, brushes, and paint provided. Kids pick a pumpkin, make it weird, take it home.
Archery
Supervised archery range with beginner-friendly instruction and all gear provided. All ages welcome.
Scenic Walks
Stroll the canopy of colorful trees and soak in the lakeside views.
Fall Photo Station
Decked-out photo backdrop for the autumn family picture. Bring your camera or use your phone.
Campfire Treats
Cider, hot chocolate, and seasonal snacks at the fire ring. The perfect mid-afternoon warm-up.
Boating & Fishing
The lake is open. Grab a paddle or cast a line. Life vests provided for boating, tackle available for fishing.
Plunger Chucking
Exactly what it sounds like. Unserious, unhinged, and a crowd favorite every year.
Giant Sandpit
The largest kids' construction sandpit around. Trucks, shovels, and enough sand to lose an afternoon in.
All Ages Welcome
Toddlers, teens, parents, grandparents. Every activity has a version that works for every age.
